To begin with, the tool which is used to collect information about the child, his knowledge, and his development, is known as early childhood assessment. As well as, known as the process of collecting and reviewing information about the child, then used it to develop planning, educational process, which activities that are appropriate to the child's level, and to let the child understand and develop his learning.  Also, assessment of early childhood done through teachers, which is very important, regarding monitoring the child's growth and level, for example; know which child needs more support to understand a specific outcome. Moreover, developing the teacher's knowledge about the appropriate curriculum and practical education for the child. It is also necessary for parents to know their child's levels and know their strengths and weaknesses, to expand learning at home. (Early Childhood Assessment , n.d.)

     Furthermore, there are two types of assessment in early childhood education. The first type is summative assessment, which is we can use it for each outcome to grade the children and know their levels. The second type is formative assessment, which is used after each lesson, to make sure that the children understand, and to improve the teacher planning (Early Childhood Assessment , n.d.). I have used these two types of assessment in my teaching practice at the kindergarten, so I will discuss and describe the different assessments that I have used.
